This particular client loved to entertain and wanted to create a fantastic space for their guests to enjoy on a regular basis. The brief was to extend to the rear with this orangery extension and create a high quality space with plenty of natural daylight overlooking the extensive gardens. The extension was designed in line with the ‘Prior Approval’ guidelines for larger home extensions which means we utilised the relaxed laws for single storey extensions and maximise the footprint that was possible for this detached dwelling. The highest quality materials were used for both the internal spaces and we redesigned some of the other spaces within the existing property as part of the works. Some of the features include motorised roof lights, underfloor heating, bi-folding doors, remote open fireplace and glass staircase.
