The brief was to design a detached family home for a developer client. The plot was of generous size with great depth to the site. But the width was a little compromised so we had to be intelligent with the design solution and maximise the internal space for the creation of 4no. bedrooms along with the living accommodation. It was a challenge obtaining the planning consent but was finally approved via the monthly committee meetings with a majority vote in favour of the application. It is now a fantastic family home and was sold shortly after completion on site.
