Brief was to design a single storey rear extension and create large open plan living accommodation overlooking the rear garden. This is one of the most common and cost effective type of house extension for many houses as in many cases, it doesn’t require planning consent. We knocked through the rear wall of the property and formed a new extension with vaulted ceiling and skylights which bring in plenty of daylight throughout the day. This space has become the hub of the house for the family and also for many other clients who have appointed us to design similar extensions.
