The brief was to design contemporary terraced houses on this vacant land which was within an established residential area. The historical planning consent had lapsed but was of very poor design. We were appointed to redesign the proposal and obtain new planning consent which was granted within the timescales of the local authority. The properties are for development and resale so we had to work within a budget whilst maximising the site and its potential for residential units. The project is all set to progress on site very soon.
